3 Months to $3000 a Month

No anime video this time. Just straight to business.

So the last 2 months I've been doing the one thing you should never do as an internet marketer- not working. Even if you're "failing" massively day after day, you should still be doing something. But as the days of no payments from Clickbank, and fewer clicks from Adsense, and even more empty than before bank accounts went by, and the time I had to start making some serious income dwindled, I just lost all motivation for a minute. The big thing that brought me pause was the (seemingly) mass bannings that Google had undergone back in April, I believe. Some famous people were up in arms about how Micro Niche Adsense sites were going bye-bye, and while I wasn't planning on going solely the Micro Niche route, I had been reformulating my affiliate marketing strategies from before and thinking that having a few hundred dollars (at least) per month from micro niche sites wouldn't be too bad. But back in April, when I heard stuff like Ben from makemoneyonlinewithseo.com got banned, and Grizzly was suggested to work on more flagship sites, I started to really doubt, well, everything.

But I'm not doubting the power of Adsense on mini sites any more. I took a long hard look at it, and realized that despite so many people claiming the jig was up and Caffeine or just Google in general were going to roll over and stamp every single ever loving niche site out of existence... I was on board with niche sites more now than ever. I surely do agree that crappy, 2 page sites made with clear emphasis to Adsense ads and few or no outgoing links/ a red flag SEO strategy were not going to work, but they never did work. The minisites I plan on building are only going to be mini in size, not in their contribution to the web. Indeed, looking back on my career I've easily created, on my own, from scratch, at least 200 pages of content. That's 40 5-page sites, or 20 10-page sites. Or 10 20-page sites if you want to think about it in terms of minisites. Sure each page would need its own share of backlinks and each site would need equal love but, honestly, breaking it down it doesn't seem impossible at all.

Long story short? I'm back on mini sites. I don't think I ever really left the idea, though. I mentioned I want more flag ship sites, well I'm just going to do the reverse of what I was planning (and still half heartedly working on) before- instead of starting with one niche and building up a huge multi page site, expanding it immediately which will make money far down the road, I'll start in 1000 niches and build few pages, but expand later and make money immediately.

All this time I've been thinking I can't start anything unless I have the perfect set up already in place, and while my dream equipment and tools package would force me to spend $600 a month to keep it maintained, I certainly don't need any cash to get started. So with no subscription to any backlinking service, and just the time, energy, and effort I have at my disposal, I'm going to take it step by step, one day at a time, and try and build myself some serious income in the next 3 months. My goal is naturally to hit the 3k I said I would attempt to hit one year ago on the date itself (September 1st). But even if I come up short by $2999, so long as I tried my hardest I'll feel fine. Okay, so I do want to make at least a dollar, but can you blame me? I'm talking about toiling away endlessly for the next 3 months!

I'll see what kind of work pace I can get set up, but I'm going to run with just .info domains under one hosting account for now.

Oh, and there was one other reason I didn't manage to do much work the pass 2 months, in internet marketing or ChaCha: I've moved. And I'm actually moving again to stay with my sis in North Carolina for (get this) the three months until September when I start back at college. I'll probably continue to work on this in my spare time at college, but that's neither here nor there. Why am I mentioning I've moved? Because hopefully some of you guys live near Chapel Hill and can help me out, lol!

I'll try and post when I can, but this blog isn't a big priority (although, ironically, I've made about $6 from it without doing anything other than posting lame AMVs and my plans to rule the internet!) Peace, and good luck making money to everyone,
