Not Much to Report On My Affiliate Marketing Strategies + Reviews Soon... I hope
Above= Neuro. Possibly my favorite anime/manga of all time. There's laughs, action, mystery, and a kick ass main character whose far more arrogant than your average hero, but is oh so suave (as you can probably tell by the blue suit). The song is by the J-Rock band Nightmare, and its the theme song for the show, also great.
On with affiliate marketing strategies, though... So I haven't done much in the way of real affiliate marketing for another 2 weeks (I think that was my last update) on account of needing cash in a big way. I've clocked in majorly over the last 2 weeks and I should be out of the hole of debt that comes with trying to pay my school and help my mom with the bills. I tell you, I can't imagine how people actually go through their entire lives working 8 hours a day and still struggling to keep ahead of bills. I'm glad I'm deciding early on to at least try and avoid that lifestyle. I don't think I'd be able to handle the stress of never being able to really afford anything. Then again, there's not a lot I even buy...
Anyway, I got another sale on a product I hadn't promoted much at all last week. But my other product, which had been getting me a consistent sale weekly seems to be bi-weekly now, if at all. I really need to pump some backlinks to the properties I've got simmering with pretty nice content (if I do say so myself). But I don't think I can really give too many more backlinks what with trying to write articles, do ChaCha, and not go insane. Man, I'm such a wuss, lol. But article writing for Textbroker is probably the greatest source of income I've got. I spend an hour writing an article at a leisurely pace and I'm fairly certain I'll have earned $10 from it. I wish Constant Content would approve my article so I could write for them, though, since they generally pay more. I guess I'll resubmit an article to them tomorrow.
Anyway, on the second part of this post... I'm going to definitely do reviews of other people's affiliate marketing strategies. I mentioned PotPieGirl's One Week Marketing once before in an affiliate marketing strategies post before, but I haven't actually done the review yet. I'm not going to be one of those guys that offers over $10 million dollars worth of bonuses, or even a freebie to build a list. At least not at this site. Maybe when I get my own domain I'll do something like that... I also won't promote something I haven't used, and I'll try to do the same thing I did in my Google Sniper Review and use a bit of the strategy that was explained in the post itself, or, like in the TriFilliate Payday review, I'll set up a whole new site to show the strategy in action. I won't explain it, or give you the steps to do it yourself (cause that would be ripping off the creator) but I'll try, and I stress the word "try" cause some stuff it's hard to do it for, and give a kind of "finished product" overview of everything I review.
Oh, and I almost forgot, I started really pumping content out a while ago for my Adsense macro niche site (where I'm targeting a more competitive key term and building 100+ pages of content on long tails to increase the domain power and then linking all the pages over the course of 3-4 months, hoping it'll bring in a fair amount) and now I'm getting some clicks! It hasn't been promoted at all, and I'm still only targeting about 12 key terms, but I'm ranking on the first page for two! I'm going to get the other 80 pages of content written hopefully by the end of April (maybe sooner, but I'm going to need immediate cash so I can't really do much for the site in March) and then invest in some link building services and try and build out 100 links per page. I'm fairly certain I can just destroy the competition, since there are sites on the first page for the specific, short tail key term I'm targeting with the whole site that only have a couple hundred inbound links, and few are as targeted as the ones I'm going to try and build.
With any luck, I'll get at least 20 first page, above the fold, rankings for key terms, and pull in clicks from all of it. The only problem I really have is that I feel like I can't write any more content for the site. The subject is something that really doesn't interest me at all, and to make matters worse, it's not something you usually write about. But that's all I'll say.
Well, that's pretty much it for me, for this week. Man, I don't know how Mike Iser does it, posting an update every day. I was really going to not post this one and I haven't been keeping up weekly either! Ah well, we can't all be machines (I mean that in a good way, Mike, if you read this, lol). Speaking of Mike Iser, you should check out his blog (kind of hinted at that when I linked it, lol).
How is everyone else doing in making money online? I hope it's well! Good luck and see you next week (what, it's possible!)

If you were going to hire a backlinking service, really fair prices at developer-hut dot com, a local company that I've seen dominate the first FOUR slots in G's search for a long tail kw on one of my sites.
ReplyDeleteThey have different packages, the entry level is about $14.95 for 100 backlinks...or you can use OnlyWire dot com, a free service (or paid if you don't want the outbound link). Socially bookmarks about 30 social bm sites - more if you have multiple users.
BTW, found you on MikeIser's blog.
