So this is going to be a short post, not really a week in review or anything at all important except for a bit of bragging and talk about how often I get sidetracked. In other words, if you read these posts because you find them informative or something good to learn from (Hah!) then you may want to look for another blog, first of all (Might I suggest Make Money Online with SEO?) and you definitely want to skip this post. Well, on with it!Picture's a little blurry, but if you type it into Google yourself you'll (hopefully) see that my evil plan to rank for Google Sniper Scam. Has been successful. Naturally this isn't a competitive keyword, especially since the launch has come and gone and now maybe three or four people search that exact term per week, but it's also interesting to note that I'm ranking 117 for Google Sniper. As in just those two words. Not particularly impressive but guess what I did to get there?
Can't guess? Well I won't keep you in suspense, I'll go over it in 3 little steps:
1. Wrote the article.
2. Wrote 4 more articles- One at Associated Content, one at Hubpages, one as a follow up on this blog, and one that was run through Free Traffic System. Submitted them all with a link back to the article I wrote on this blog. (I actually might have used the article on the blog at Free Traffic System and reworded it slightly).
3. Backlinked the original post using OnlyWire (it's in my sidebar, check it out).
And behold, a week later, I sit at the number 3 position for Google Sniper Scam. This isn't really that important to me (except I'm glad someone giving a truthful review is ranked- because that was some serious truth I handed out to you guys on the program) but what is important in terms of ranking for this week is my Google Sniper site itself.
I told you guys last post it had jumped "a little" higher to result 138 or so. Well two days afterwards it had subsided to result number 148, and I figure I would have to start linking again to get it to get another nice jump, then slowly dip back down. Well I was wrong, and I woke up today to find it (according to rank checker) sitting at position 49 in Google. The only problem is, where I used to have four pages ranking for the key term in Google, now only one is ranking that I can tell.
I think the Free Traffic System submits I did have stopped posting already, so Google will probably find all of them next week and do an evaluation by next Saturday-Sunday, with any luck. I'll probably fall off the map completely then, but who knows.
On another topic... I've been getting majorly sidetracked in all things internet marketing by trying to find cash for right now. I mentioned earlier how awesome Neobux was, but the amount of money you can make from them has become extremely limited in comparison with other online revenue sources. However, it's more consistent than most other programs. Definitely more consistent than my latest "make money online" program, which is online casinos.
Yeah yeah, I shouldn't gamble away my time, but I recently decided to enter a tournament at one casino when I found out just placing 30th place would net you $30 of Casino money (which you couldn't cash out and would have to play back). So far I started in the tournament, since it was free sign up, figuring I could at least make it to 30th place. So far I'm in 7th place which puts me on the roster to get $1250. REAL cash. As in that I can take home. Took me 5 hours of playing the slots to get that far, and the contest ends on the 26th so realistically I could be removed from the top 10 any time, but I gotta say, it's great to be so close to so much cash.
So that's why I wish that you could make money online without actually having to be online. Being able to make money online while offline would really help me keep focused. Now instead of doing ChaCha like I'm supposed to, I'm probably going to go and hit up the slots a few more times to see if I can move up to 6th place.
