Making Money Online with PPC and PTC Part 2: We'll Buy Your Traffic!

Okay, so part two of my new plans for this month. I should probably toss out that this is going to be a way shorter post than the last one, mostly because I need to save my fingers for ChaCha tomorrow (they're having a Labor day pay special I don't want to miss out 0n). With that in mind, let's get started!

So my last post explained how I planned to make tons of money with PTC sites, and now I'm going to go back to more "regular" internet marketing stuff- namely PPC, or pay per click, advertising. For the uninitiated, PPC advertising is basically the reverse of Adsense. Basically, if you're a PPC advertiser then you'd be paying Google to run your ads on various websites that target the keywords you input. The goal? To get your website viewed regardless of its spot in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page).

So what do I have to do with PPC? Well right now, nothing, but over the course of the next month or so I'm going to be working "part-time" with my mother whose convinced she can make money on the internet, but that she just doesn't have the "technical" know-how to get started. Recently she took off of work for 15 days, and so I told her during this time I would help her. I figured that PPC is the "fast track" to success, so to speak, because the only thing you need to master is relevancy to your ads. At least from what I understand about it.

If any PPC advertisers happen to drop by, feel free to give any advice as my family and I undertake this project. So far we've picked out a product that we'll promote, and I've gone about explaining the different ways I research keywords. I hear it's best to start with a low daily budget, but slightly higher than you are actually willing to spend. The past weekend I've been using some of my article writing time to do some research on PPC advertising so starting Tuesday I'll be able to jump straight into it. I think the biggest problem will probably be the landing page, but if I can finish my new daily goal of 8 articles in a timely fashion, then I can devote at least 10 hours to working on getting everything up and running.

Well, I'll keep this blog updated throughout with everything; my article marketing campaign, Adsense hubpages, and now PPC campaign. (I've sorta taken them off the backburner- I figured out how to use Market Samurai slightly so my keyword research is MASSIVELY faster- when I start getting some income I'm definitely going to toss $150 towards that piece of software).
