Making Money Online with PPC and PTC Part 1: It Pays to Click

Well, another day, another 3 articles posted, a slew of articles sites signed up for, and a ton (and I mean A TON) learned about backlinking for me. Oh, and I also brushed up on PPC advertising and did some standard work with my PTC sites, which I'll get more into later. For now I'd like to open with an explanation about the picture, since some may be curious. I'm an enormous fan of anime/manga- Japanese animation and comics, and I realized that I haven't been putting many pictures up as of late, so I thought I'd open with one of my latest obsessions, the manga Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Which translates to "Demon Detective Brain-Eater Neuro" or some such. That's the main character, a detective that's literally from hell, who feeds off of the murderous intent of people by solving murder cases. He literally eats their brain afterwards. Well, their mind, he doesn't chop off the top of their head etc, but kind of turns into a spiritual demon bird and saps their mind juice. But he's not doing any of that now, of course, instead he's working on building a few hubpages!

I kid, but now anyone that has seen me in one of the many places like Wealthy Affiliate, hubpages, Make Money online with Seo, Digitalpoint, Neobux, or so many other places I can't even name them all, knows what my avatar picture is. Next time I'll give you guys a relevant pic; maybe a screenshot of my standing in google for a keyword or something lame like that.

On to the main point!

Last post I told you guys I'd be back soon with another new project (don't worry, it'll be the last one for me for a while, and I won't be doing all the work alone- I have a couple of partners in crime) and some info about PTC sites. I'm going to explain the easiest first and jump right in with PTC.

So you guys remember from my Neobux post that I was using Paid to click (PTC) sites to make money. Well I'm still doing that, and I've actually branched out and expanded my PTC territory to include 9 other PTC websites I currently click all ads on almost every day (I've missed no days on a majority, but on some I may miss one here and there for about 14 days total missed between all 9 sites-with 10 of those days being one in specific). So far I've earned the most with Neobux, still, but my earnings are reaching critical mass elsewhere (well, at least cashout mass). I'll run through the ones I'm working with right now- feel free to sign up to them as they're free.

Clixsense

This site is really unique. I actually started with it about the same week as Neobux, but it doesn't offer renting referrals or even purchasing of them. It's strictly old school with the referral strategy and you won't get much money unless you upgrade. To be fair, the upgrade is only $10, and in a month of constantly forgetting this site (this is the one site I've missed about 10 days on) I've still got a balance of $0.94. Yeah, it's chump change, but upgraded I'd have had more ads per day to click etc. Its referral program also works in a matrix style where by Free members will receive $0.01 for each referral and will receive $2.00 if their direct referral upgrades to a Premium account. You will also receive 10% of revenues generated from your referrals' ad purchases. Pretty good if people you refer buy stuff, but otherwise kind of lame.

Buxwiz

Buxwiz is the site I love to hate. It's basically another carbon copy of Neobux, which is why I love it. They don't do much differently; shave off a few dollars for upgrading and changing the upgrade names, but the payouts etc. are all basically the same. I have yet to rent with them, and the reason I hate them is really due to my own fault. I signed up with them at 1:00 or so in the afternoon for some reason and now that's my ad renewal time. This wouldn't matter much if not for the fact that I usually click on all these sites at the same time- early morning. In essence, I have to wait in the afternoon to click Buxwiz, so I usually forget. But that's my problem. Their very nice as a service- their direct referral earnings are kind of low, though.

Yoobux

You're probably laughing it up right now as you see I've only earned 7 and a half cents, but this site has a special reason behind its low earnings- maintenance. Yoobux for a good month was undergoing constant maintenance. As a result, my earnings you see above are only for the past 3 days or so. Which is still pretty bad. I don't know why, but they don't give you that many ads at once. I always seem to get different ones too... Anyway, they're another Neobux clone down to the rental system and upgrades. Minor pricing differences, but basically they work the same as Neobux.

Palmbux

So this one's a weird site. Palmbux has rented referrals (though they never seem to be available) and jack pots and miniature jackpots where you can win cash or referrals. Their upgrade system is about the same as Neobux too, with the difference of being able to upgrade for either a year OR half a year for about half the price. The weird thing about Palmbux is the price per click. Some clicks are .008, and some are $0.001. It usually balances out to about $0.04 per day, so I don't have a huge problem with it, but it gets kind of annoying having to click more ads for the same amount of cash.

BpBux
Currently, Bpbux.com is down, but they're a simple site. They give you a penny per click and offer rented referrals. I think there's only one upgrade package available as of now. So far I've earned around a dollar from them as well.

Buxyou
This kind of sucks, but now Buxyou is out too. Anyway, they weren't proprietary or anything. Whenever they show back up I'll do a better summary, but they were more or less Neobux part 19. Though I think they only offered one upgrade, if I recall correctly.

Tuibux

Another great looking one. I say great looking because I haven't cashed out and haven't actually made that much yet, as you can see. However, it IS my top earner aside from Neobux in the PTC realm. Making money online with tuibux has been surprisingly easy, if I do say so myself. They were only down once (something I can't say for a majority of these other sites) and their ads almost always work. They have jackpots etc. and their upgrade system gives you one upgrade (premium) for $80 that allows for cheaper rentals, more total rentals, and double the amount you receive from rented referrals per click. Really simple and straight forward. So far I've also invested $5 into them, just because I wanted a kind of control after the money I put into Neobux- more on that later.

The Bux Bank
I admit, I don't entirely trust this site. It has the same skin as sites like RichPTC, and enRichPTC (which I won't bother linking because they're obvious scams; how on Earth could you afford to pay $1 per click when advertisers still spend low amounts for advertisments?!) and it also has no forum. That being said, it has a chat function (which I still haven't used) so it may have just been too much work for the webmasters to set up a forum, but they could still be legit. Either way, I've bagged about $0.60 from them as of this writing. Not bad for a PTC. They don't offer rented referrals, but you can buy referrals for a higher price (kind of useless; what if your 5 referrals stop clicking after you pay $5.50 for them?!). Their upgrade system gives you a single upgrade (Premium) which doubles referral clicks etc.

Bux.gs
This site is pretty nice. They offer the ability to rent or buy referrals, and give you 5 ads per day worth a single penny, so you theoretically earn 20% faster than most other sites that offer only 4 ads per day (unless you do like I do and pop in and out frequently throughout the day hoping for more). Their upgrade system is quarterly- you can purchase in 3 month intervals or for half a year or for a full year. The minimum cashout for this site is kind of steep at $9, but after you get rolling and renting referrals it probably won't seem so steep. Of course, you have to put in $20 before you can rent your first 10 referrals, or try and earn it all on your own. I'm only up to $1.50 now after a month, so that could naturally take a while.

You-Cubez
To be honest, this is also not a regular clicker of mine, but I think it will become one. Anyway, from the top, you-cubez is, dare I say it, revolutionary in its setup. Instead of being a standard paid to click site, you start by purchasing a cube for £1 (so about $2 American, I guess). This cube will be a backlink to a site of yours and be given a value starting with the amount you paid (so it's worth £1 at first). The cubes are then displayed on the main page for all members to see, and ranked according to value. If your cube has very little value, it'll fall to the last few pages or maybe be the very last one, and no one will ever visit it. You won't get a visitor to your site or even much value. On the other hand, if you log in regularly and complete offers and click other cubes, your cube will steadily increase in value and you'll be the obvious choice for people to click when/if you're on the first page. Someone can later buy your cube from you for a price you specify and you get to keep the money. It's kind of ingenious if you think about it- work hard and get a cube to be worth several thousand, and then ask for significantly lower (looking at sold cubes, it seems this is how it goes. The highest sold I saw was one bought for £200-even though it was worth over £11,000 allegedly).

You can also earn based off of referrals and the usual jazz. Seems like there aren't direct payouts aside from on referral commissions, though. You can upgrade to get more money from unique views etc. on your cube for £4 at the lowest upgrade level and time (1 month), and £9 for the highest upgrade level at the lowest time (1 month).

Neobux

The big daddy earner and the true revolutionary of PTCs. I did an entire article on them already, so refer back to it if you want more general info, but as for what my stats are like (explained- you can see what I've "earned" up there)... I have so far got an actual profit (assuming I would cash out today) of about -$11. Yeah, negative. I funded my account with $15 in total since starting at Neobux and have rented 73 referrals now. I have all 73 still, and was working with Auto pay enabled, but I turned it off now that half my referrals are below their autopay date. Now I have one referral that expires in 10 days, and then some that are staggered all across the teens from 11-19 on their expirations, and a ton that expire in about 25 days, with a few more that expire in 29 days. So by the time this month is up, hopefully I'll have stabilized the payment of my referrals and I'll be able to start focusing on getting more every week until I have 500 and then I'll just maintain them.

Whew, well that took a while, and I haven't even got into the main point of PTCs- the reason I'm still working with them.

My evil master plan for making money online with PTC websites is actually kind of a common sense thing- play the numbers game and create multiple streams of income via several PTCs. The reason I tossed $20 in the pot at Tuibux and Neobux is because they were the most legitimate and easiest interfaced I saw, and I figured I could start hard with Neobux and see results very quickly (relative to PTCs) in about 6 months. My plan right now is to use any revenue I manage to secure through other online schemes- be they ChaCha, GPT sites, or affiliate or Adsense marketing- to funnel into Neobux. I won't use ALL the money from affiliate or Adsense marketing until I have some other stuff, of course, but maybe 10% of any cash I make from those ventures. If I start earning regularly (a few sales per week) I'll ramp up what I put in, and eventually I'll have enough to get 500 referrals and a premium membership. Now with the maximum profit margin I'd be able to get $20 of profit per day with auto pay turned off with this amount of referrals. In all likelihood, I'd probably get about $7 a day if I'm lucky with autopay turned off. BUT that would still be $49 weekly, so I could rent 100 more referrals every week and slowly increase earnings.

It would take at least 15 weeks- or about 4 months- to go from having 500 referrals to having 2000 referrals, however, by that time, I'd have a max capability (assuming all referrals click 4 ads per day every day; unlikely) of grabbing $80 per day. Better in bound estimate would be $25-$30 per day. Not bad. From here it'd take a month with no help from other projects (who knows where I'd be with article marketing or anything else by this point) to get enough money for the Ultimate upgrade, at which time I'll be capable of renting in increments of 300 and getting up to 4000 referrals directly (rental que will allow me to surpass that limit, I hear). Once I reach the maximum I'll also be able to rent every 4 days, so I could reach 4000 referrals in about a month. Max earnings after that would be around $160 per day with constant clickers. Lowballing it, however, and I can see $50 per day easy after expenses.

It'll be a long and treacherous road, but after I complete it for Neobux, the most reliable PTC, then assuming others like Tuibux survive, I'll pour tons of cash from wherever I stand on those various other sites at them, and then just redo the entire process all at once. If I can get all the other sites to turn around profits even close to Neobux- say 20% of the big Neo's make money online ability- I'd have 8 streams of (practically) residual income earning $10 a day and then the big whopper- Neobux- earning $50 per day. Max earnings if I get the Neobux clones (only four sites are real clones) to as high as Neobux would be around $200+ per day. With any luck this will all be done by next year and assuming I flake out or fail at everything else online, I'll still have this income.

Naturally this plan has a lot of flaws and variables, and I probably will change it up depending on how good other income streams online go. But right now I'm planning on Neobux to be a fairly capable stream of income. I don't know how the webmaster manages things behind the scenes, so I fully expect it to be unreliable and maybe even shut down by that time, but for now, I'm going to work with it and get money in and out before it may go sour.

Whew, well I was originally going to cover the PPC part in this post too, but I changed the title about two paragraphs ago because I don't want this post to be too long. I'll cover what the PPC part of the title means next post with some witty headliner about making money online up there.

I didn't do much today in terms of work on my projects because despite the knowledge I've gained about backlinking, I'm still kind of confused when it actually comes down to doing it. Well, not doing it manually, I get that, but using stuff like free traffic system etc. confuses me. Not majorly; I got it in the end, but now I'm struggling with what tactics I should take for my Ezines and other articles. They finally got my niche blog indexed, but it's not ranking so I was going to syndicate them, but I'm not sure how fast I should backlink. Right now I figure I'd give my fingers and brain a rest (well, I ended up not doing that now) and start analyzing PPC while waiting for other backlinked things to get index etc. before tossing backlinks to the blog. This first time I do this is very experimental, so I think I'll probably jump out and do like 20 articles tomorrow to backlink to the blog and just see what happens. Theory says it should rank awesomely, then drop like a stone for a while as Google "punishes" me. I've researched another niche recently so even if that happens I can start in on that one next week. What really sucks is that those two Ezines that flagged still haven't been checked again.

But, enough of this now. Good luck to everyone on their make money online journeys and I'd like to throw a special thanks out to Tiptocat for reading this blog, even if you never return, and of course Mr. Dirty Boots for dropping by earlier. Peace everybody.

  1. Hi there, I got a little words for you :
If you want to make money online, I think there is a lot of methods, they all are good and profitable. But, the most important factors of making money online are traffic and conversion. Traffic is good, but targeted traffic is much better. I hope that I can make money by following your advice. Thanks.

  2. Hey Reza, thanks for stopping by! Adsense is definitely a great way of monetizing- I'm not sure if you read Grizzly's site, but if you do, then you know how powerful it is. However, Adsense requires a lot of volume before you really start making real money, and, like you said, a lot of traffic.

What I'm currently working on, affiliate marketing, requires vastly less volume and really just affiliate marketing. Not to say I'm throwing Adsense out the window- it's definitely more consistent with what you earn (I can basically count on a click per week to one of the hubs I have out there- usually it's about $0.75), and after you start earning big it would be easy to maintain, but I think right now I'm going to keep dabbling in affiliate marketing as my main target to make money online.

    Thanks for stopping by again!
