Or at least the new one to me. So this post won't be overly long, as I'm getting started right now, but I will make sure to keep my three followers updated. Okay, so I've been through Wealthy Affiliate, pretty much reading backwards and forwards on bum marketing methods for now. Travis Sago and Potpiegirl are my main influences for the strategy, and Ifully expect this to make ZERO dollars the very first campaign. And by that, I mean the very first product I decide to promote.
Right now I'm fully in it just for the learning. From now until 4 weeks from now my goal is to get 4 different products from clickbank thoroughly keyword researched, and then write articles for as many "available" keywords as I can find. That's not the meat of the strategy, though. No, the meat is actually going to be changing constantly. One day it may be making money online chicken, the next it may be SEO beef... What am I saying?!
What I mean is I'm going to change how I handle both backlinks and each product's unique network of sites. Right now I'm tossing around the idea of trying to create a blog with one product's batch of sites, and then just free reigning it with several articles for another, and maybe mix in a bit of both. Just so it's all clear, I plan on writing some articles, then using them as backlinks to a blog for a broader aspect of the still very focused niche, and then having the blog link to the product in one or two posts, and then I'll use more posts in the blog to link to a series of alternate articles that just link directly to the affiliate sites. If I have time and come up with a non-convoluted way to do it, I might set up a network of blogs all targeting different keywords within each post interlinking to one another and then to articles I've written.
I doubt I'd have time, though I plan to do this if I find any success with this whole affiliate marketing thing. And I'm also going to try and write some more hubs, now that I've got it down to a science it takes me a half hour to write well researched hubs; last time I posted I was kind of discouraged with my hubscores, and I didn't want to sacrifice quantity for quality. But today I woke up and checked my stats and was pleasantly surprised with the picture above. I've got awful traffic, as you can see (if you can see that, sorry, online picture resizer went bonkers when I tried to maintain the original dimensions) but my hubs are scoring pretty well. My overall score is 87- not too shabby when you consider my highest ranking hub has a score of 78. It seems to take a while for your hubs to ferment into a hubscore, and then the more traffic and comments they get, the more your scores go up.
So anyway, this is my master plan for next month. I'm going to put in a few extra hours at ChaCha as well, in case I don't make super sponsor at ACME People again, so I can afford to pay for Wealthy Affiliate next month. After it's paid for I'm going to go crazy asking for advice for at least a few days, and then, depending on any profits I have made, I'm going to tweak these campaigns accordingly and whip out some new ones, aiming at getting 3 per week out (2days devoted to each and then having a margarita and resting my fingers for half of a Sunday; the other half I'll do ChaCha). By the time September ends I DO hope to have made some money, however slight, with this whole affiliate marketing stuff. Now if I don't make super sponsor at ACME People Search (which is entirely possible as I'm already spreading myself thin and I'll be taking two harder classes starting next week) then making money will require getting enough in sales to recoup the $40 for Wealthy Affiliate itself.
Wow, that was longer than I expected, but I actually did all of this in like 24 minutes, so I guess I meant time to type it, not time it would take to
