From Broke to Wealthy Affiliate?!

Well it's official, the Broke Affiliate has managed to become a Wealthy Affiliate. And by that I mean I've joined the Wealthy Affiliate program. Now despite my having heard tons about this program from now successful entrepreneurs, I still don't know all that much about it specifically- the guys upstairs have been making sure to keep it under wraps. This is why I was so reluctant to join when I first heard about it 2 months ago when I started all this Internet Marketing business. But I'll tell you faithful nonexistant readers what I can about the program throughout my toils there, and I'll denote whether it's something you should spend your time on.

But first, how about I give you a run down of what I do know?

So Wealthy Affiliate is the "#1 Training program for up and coming affiliates" or some such. I first heard about this program through the wonderful Eddy Saloman at Work At Home No Scams. However, I didn't have the money to just slap down on the subscription. Still don't, as a matter of fact. So how did I buy it? Simple: through the program I told you that you before you could use to make money with, ACME People Search. The payment proof you see above was emailed to me this morning and at first I thought someone had hijacked Tissa's idea and was trying to get me to log in to paypal, but lo and behold, after going to the ACME forum, I found out I had actually become a super sponsor! And for those that didn't check it out, Tissa basically offers you the opportunity to receive several things- your subscription to Global Domains International ($10),his affiliatize program ($30), HostGator ($9), and Wealthy Affiliate ($40)- for just helping people out around the forums! I personally didn't have a single thread to show, and about 60 posts that were really just free written and easy to create. You don't have to be particularly knowledgeable- help in any way you can, and make sure that you're not just trying to promote yourself and you can seriously get the opportunity to work with ACME for nothing!

The basic breakdown for Wealthy Affiliate is that you're introduced into a community of other affiliate marketers who are learning like you. You start off with little knowledge about anything, unless you're like me and have been feverishly researching and learning the little bits you could for free, but otherwise you're probably pretty clueless. Well the first thing that jumps out at you, and one of the more praised aspects of the program, is the 8 week action plan that will supposedly guide you through the trials and tribulations of being a successful affiliate marketer.

Along with the Wealthy Affiliate program you get a wealth of other resources like a forum where you can earn and pay out "WA gold"- which you can then trade in for real money later- Site Rubix a non-technical website builder, WA Spaces, which is basically mySpace for the affiliate marketers of the site, and a few more miscellaneous stuff I don't think I need to really check out.

So that's how this Broke Affiliate managed to grab his chance at becoming a Wealthy Affiliate, even if it doesn't work out, at least I'm finally able to try! So anyway, I'm checking out the entire site as I write this post, and I'll get back to you guys with my experiences- hopefully bi-weekly, but it might end up being weekly as I'm also working on another project and stuff for school. School stuff doesn't interest you I'm sure, but my other project just might...
